Who is Capri?
Capri is a performer, sunshine-chaser, and proud California native from the coastal town of Carlsbad! She earned her Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre from Oberlin College and Conservatory.
Her love for performing began at age five, when show tunes and living room performances became her daily routine. What started as childhood entertainment quickly turned into a lifelong calling. Since then, Capri has immersed herself in the world of theatre, always chasing the magic of storytelling.
Offstage, Capri is known for her deep connection to family, spontaneous adventures with friends, and a soft spot for every dog she meets—no pup goes un-petted!
She’s also a serial hobbyist—if she picked it up last week, she’s probably obsessed with it today! Whether it’s discovering a hidden gem of a restaurant or exploring somewhere totally new, Capri is always game for the next exciting thing.

What's New(s)?

Capri Castriotta and the Class of 2026 were proud to present the inaugural showcase of the new Oberlin Music Theater Program, held at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in NYC on March 23 and 24.

As they wrapped up their showcase week, the Oberlin Class of 2026 was joined by special Obie alums, Seth Rudetsky and Judy Kuhn, at 54 Below to share favorite songs, personal stories, and bold beginnings as they took their first steps into the professional world.
After traveling to California to perform at the Hidden Valley Theater in Carmel, CA, the cast of Oberlin’s The World Goes ’Round returned to the Hanna Theater in downtown Cleveland’s Playhouse Square for a limited run.
This past semester, Capri produced, filmed, and edited her senior recital, Proud Italian Woman. The project was designed to highlight the growth she has experienced over the past four years.
The recital served as a meaningful culmination of her time in college!
